2.6. DisplayThis section explains how to control the general page display. To access this page, go to administration section and select 'Configuration' from the menu. ColumnsTo improve messages display, the main page can be viewed in columns. You can decide to make this option your default setting or let the users change the layout. ![]() When the user is allowed the switch between normal and column views, he will see 2 buttons (upper right corner of the page). BannerThe top zone of the page is called the "banner". Depending on the theme skin, it displays the logo or a picture pattern. You can decide to remove this zone. ![]() Note the the language menu (if activated) is displayed in this banner zone. When hiding the banner, the language menu remain visible as one line on top of the rest of the page. How to change the banner logo? In the specific skin folder, the logo is the file qtg_logo.gif. In the same folder, the qtg_main.css file is the stylesheet defining the skin. If you want to edit the stylesheet, you will notice that the logo image has the id #logo and is included in a table cell having the class td.banner_c Separate formThis option defines where is located the sign form. You can make it visible directly under the messages or in a separate page. Using separate page is mandatory when the Google map is active. Embeded contentIf you decide to embed the guestbook as a part of your own webpage, you can turn this option to Yes. This will remove the html header making possible to include the guestbook as a part of an existing web page. |
